I mean things you see in a TV program or movie that are so stupid you want to through your television out the window!

I'll start with this one...

Can't remember the name, but about 30 or so years ago there was a program similar to The Dukes of Hazard, except the two brothers flew an airplane instead of driving a muscle car.

In one episode the bad guys were in the back seat. One of them fired his gun and "shot out the electrical system". They were out in the middle of no where with nothing around except two fully grown trees about 8 feet apart---the kind you see in the deep woods, not rural California. They flew the plane (high wing strut braced) between the two trees so the wings would come off. Why? Because the fuel tanks are in the wings and they wanted to separate them to prevent a fire.

:roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll: I'll rate this one 10 ROFL

Oh, yes. They did survive unfortunately.
