Today PJ-II "Dreamer" first time "landed" on his new landing gear, but before that, he had few minutes of "flight" with landing gear in retracted configuration.

Can't wait to see some pics at dusk. The first Dreamer always looked so good in the sunset pics.

Those main wheels may be what's needed for this aircraft but look totally out of place on this plane. By that, I mean toooo simple for a complex fighter aircraft.

That's the reason they built it as a retract. Having fixed gear with GA wheels didn't match the aircraft.

Can't wait to see some pictures of it in flight and get to see it with gear up. It's going to be a great looking aircraft!

PJ-II "Dreamer" was designed to be as simple as possible in construction and use aircraft, that was a reason for spring type main landing gear legs. And because this is not real jet fighter aircraft, but just a look like, there was no reason to make complicated and heavy landing gear for it.

I guess if the owner wants to fabricate some removable beefy oleo struts, springs, trailing link setup, etc from foam and fiberglass and zip-tie them to the real spring landing gear to be seen at airshows and in his hangar, that could be an add-on. External pylons/stores could be velcroed under the wings, too.

Malish, keep up the good work.

Hey guys, I wasn't having a go at Malish. I like simple ideas but, on the ground, they(the wheels) just look too flimsy.

Now, we're finished with retractable landing gear system. PJ-II "Dreamer" is back to "Jig,s" for a final assembly. We're hope this aircraft will fly soon, but with whether conditions in our part of the world - very difficult to make any plans to fly it before the spring.

Now is time to get aircraft ready for test flight's with new retractable landing gear system. Both hydraulic systems(retracts and brakes) are in working condition and we're working on installation of power plant.

Thanks henryk(Генрик) - it's a lot work still need to be done(getting airworthiness certificate, test flights and fine tuning).
But we're trying to get airplane back in the air, as soon as we can. I can't wait to see it back it in the air looking like this: pIMG_0050 (Large).jpg
