Another Double Dancing Banana day!
The Chapter 555 "Give Flight" Waiex was signed off today :ban::ban:
The DAR had nothing but compliments for our Waiex (not surprising, ...everything on that airplane was built by real, old school, craftsmen and has been checked a gazillion times over the last three years by a small army of anal retentive, grey haired, EAA TC's quoting 43-13-1B :gig: )
I made a few mistakes on the paperwork but the DAR said (essentially) that he'd rather see a good airplane with screwed up paperwork than a screwed up airplane with good paperwork. ...he walked me through fixing the paperwork, no problem.
If you live in the southwest U.S. and need a DAR that "gives a poop" and doesn't have ego issues (only wants to see you have a safe and legal airplane) give Ron Livingston a call.
...now it's time to get back to work on my own projects
