Good afternoon everyone.

I am a student in Mechanical Engineering. My senior design project revolves around finding an aircraft that uses a heavy engine, and replacing it with lighter automotive engine. The engine that we are able to use, is about 380 pounds, which is not light at all, but we have no choice.

The problem is, whichever plane we choose, we need as many drawings and as much information as possible.

We were looking into the STOL aircrafts since they provided excellent drawings and information, but their engines are too light.

Can anyone please help us find something like this, with a heavy engine (something that uses maybe a Lycoming 6 cylinder or more engine) and with sufficient amount of drawings and information?

Thank you.
