Assuming that weight wasn't an issue and the complexity was an acceptable compromise, is there any reason not to put a side stick on both sides of the cockpit?
Seems like the benefit would be not having to ask someone to fly or operate instrument buttons with their weak coordinated side. Throttles could be both sides too or in the middle. Flaps could be electric and so it would be easy to put that central or both sides.
