Hi,
This is a basic question, but I don't understand why we use 25% of MAC as the CP for a wing. Surely this has to be dependent on the airfoil? A Raf-48 (max thickness at 30% chord)or a ClarkY (with max thickness at 28% chord) is very different from a Riblett GA 37A315, which has its max thickness at 37% chord. How can the Riblett airfoil have its CP 12 degrees ahead of its thickest point? Doesn't make sense...
