Hey guys,
I am preparing to build a 2 place amphibian with an inverted gull wing design. This will be a folding wing and my interest here will be folding mechanisms as well as locking mechanisms.
First my idea for folding, I am considering a double acting pneumatic cylinder with a small reservoir tank and compressor on board. I am interested in your thoughts.
I also am concerned with the locking mechanism. This needs to be even more substantial as this aircraft will be light aerobatic. I wish to achieve at least 7 g,s positive and 5 negative. I would like input in this area.
Would also love to discuss this over the phone with anyone willing to do so. Thanks a bunch!
