Suppose instead of cutting a VW in half I just removed one cylinder to make three cylinder?
Has anyone ever run a flat four on just three cylinders? How bad is the vibration at say 2500 rpm max?
What if some special balance work was done with the crankshaft?
An 1835cc VW missing one cylinder would be 1377cc.
I am looking at all options to get ideas for a 110-125 pound air cooled VW.
