I'll start with some photos from crossing the Rockies in late January.
East of Mount Ranier (in the background, over 100 miles away) in late January.
Over the Snake River (The dark line in the several thousand feet thick overcast) NNW of Boise, Idaho.
Climbing east bound out of Logan, Utah, above freezing fog, with a 60 knot tailwind.
