My nose wheel is 4 inches wide, and takes a 5/8 inch axle. I would like to have 1 inch clearance on each side from the fork. Also the fork will probably take up another inch on each side.

That all adds up to a total of 8 inches.

Now 5/8 inch would be an AN10 bolt, which AS doesn't even carry. Other places do have them, but the longest has only about a 6 inch grip.

Other getting a hunk of round 4130 and threading the ends, what are my options?
