natural pilot weight variation to motor type installment designs is a big thing in home built aircraft for instants if you use a four stroke motor it most probably go to the front of the aircraft like the tenni two or rans kr or stewart headwind even with reduction ..where as a two stroke motor would naturaly go to the rear of the c/g and the pilot would be sitting in front of the aircraft for ballance .with the four stroke motor it will weigh some where around 2.5 lbs per horse power like the vw motor used mostly for homebuilt aircraft so it makes sence to put it up front of the c/g. and the pilot behind the c/g so a heavy pilot sits tending to the rear of the c/g range and a light pilot to the forward allocation c/g range .where as a two stroke motor weighs about 1 lb per house power and isnt enough to ballance the pilot and aircraft up front so the craft is built with the motor at the rear of the c/g and the pilot ballances every thing so a light pilot sits forward more so than the heavier pilot back closer to the c/g .. ..similer to a motorised homebuilt sailplane .
