I've read reams of information on light weight homebuilt aircraft. A common issue seems to be the ability to glide to a safe landing in the case of an engine out problem (I'm leery of 2 strokes). Is there a home built that doesn't mimic a rock when the power is pulled ? UL or LSA.....
