Trying to design a trailerable side by side two place tractor with detachable wings. So wing tanks are out of question. Where is a good/safe location to put the fuel tank? I have considered under seat tank but feel that is not as safe if main gear collapses during landing. I am OK with a behind seat configuration but what is the crash consideration? Any idea is welcome. Thanks in advance.
