This one will be sure to promote some discussion.
Lets say you built a cylinder out in interstellar space---perhaps 2 miles in diameter and 200 miles long. Fill it with air at 1 atmosphere pressure.
Put an airplane in it.
How well will the airplane fly? There will still be thrust, drag, and the wings will generate a downwash, pressure differential, etc. The only thing missing would be gravity.
