In place of heavy and space hogging hydraulic systems, is it feasible to use an all electrical landing gear system? In place of a hydraulic piston could be some sort of linear actuator.

Servocity sells linear actuators with a maximum of 1500lbs thrust and a static load of 3050lbs.
