Hi WK. Welcome to the world of the Lifting Fuselage. (Crap, msg too long)

I just came across your post about Burnelli's work. This work has been my passion for almost 10 years now. I've fortunately gained support and encouragement from professionals at NASA and Northrop Grumman as well at university aerospace professors. Here is some of my work on the other Burnelli site... Blog « Burnelli .

A report to General Hap Arnold in 1943 states, "His lifting-wing fuselage principle is sound and will prevail sure. He himself deserves nothing but the highest praise even though he has been unfortunate and unlucky." The poor guy just couldn't catch a break. There is much more. You can write me directly at if you like.

Good luck with your studies and Happy New Year.

I'm a college student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering and have plans to get a graduate degree in Aerospace Engineering and then a career in the aerospace industry.

I'm working on a private pilot license and I eventually want to start building my own plane or at least work with other people on their projects.
