Floating an early design idea for critique. The experts will quickly see a lack of formal training, mainly designed on paper and modeled in X-Plane to test things. (and its fun to fly while designing)
Here's the basics:
Two place tandem VFR
Empty weight 1,100 lbs
Gross weight 1,700 lbs
Wingspan 28 ft
Length 24 ft
Engine O-320 160hp
Prop 3 Blade 66 inch
Expected cruise 150kts
Stall 60kts
Range 400 miles
Nothing cutting edge here, if plans were available I would start it tomorrow. (any takers?)
Budget is 50k-60k 2 year spread.
