After posting about the Brditschka HB-204 Tornado, I looked for a dedicated thread on tip tanks but did not find one. Does anyone have any info on or examples of relatively simple tip tank installations in light aircraft? I'd be especially interested in an installation using tip tanks and a single fuselage tank plumbed and vented to act as one single tank for simplicity. With such an arrangement and the plane parked on level ground, you could literally fill all three tanks from one filler cap. Cheers, Matthew
