Probably about time I put some details of this up and ask for feedback!
The idea is for an all composite, very efficient single seater (looks a lot like a low aspect ratio glider & will use a whole load of glider techniques).
Basic spec:

*SSDR is Single Seat DeRegulated in the UK - no regulatory oversight - just ask for a reg, third party insurance and off you go.

- 80 Knot Cruise
- 35 Knot Stall speed (SSDR* legal requirement!)
- 300Kg All Up Weight (SSDR legal requirement!)
- +6g/-4g +2x safety factor
- Space for one pilot up to 90kg inc parachute
Which has lead to:
- 9m span
- 8.25m^2 wing area
- FX 79 k144 wing section (0.37 Cruise CL)
- Slotted flaps over untapered span(!)
- 80kg Batteries
- 15 kg Motors etc.
- 105 kg left for structure(!)
