I have always been a closet Mignet fan. Yes, I am well aware, the point of these formulaic aircraft is not top speed. But, apart from the drag of the extra wing area and pivots etc, is there a fundamental reason that they are limited to a lower speed?
I have noticed the dutch roll gets worse with speed in a few models, but I cannot explain why this should be the case more generally. It appears the Crosses CLP is the fastest of the lot (about 140MPH topspeed), are they others?
