This is my second aircraft design. I'am flying my first design.
I did not design this aircraft to sell plans or kits, but for my own family use.
Everything is built except assembling the wings, all parts are made.
Single place for a large pilot, (My 2 grandsons are 6' 4"-5" x 240-250 lbs. Fuselage is 28" wide, with lots of leg and head room for tall pilots. Wing span == 28', Wing area==109 sq ft. Airfoil== 2413. EW== 590-600 lbs, GW== 1000 lbs, Power Cont-C85-12F with light weight starter and alt. Wing Loading== 9.17 lbs per sq ft. Power loading at GW== 11.76 .
Aircraft is flat, square, and simple, Sort of looks like a tri-gear Tailwind, but slower and easy to fly.
Stab area== 9.1 sq ft. Elevator area== 8.5 sq ft, Rudder area== 5.5 sq ft. Fin area== 3.20 sq ft.
Due to the small airframe for a heavier Cont engine, I designed the rear of the fuselage and the tails a little heavier instead of adding lead for the W&B, I would rather put the weight in the structure. I brought the engine back as far as possible and still have the needed leg room for a tall pilot.
The wing are wood with spruce beam spars with geodetic construction like the wings on the aircraft that I am flying. The wings will have slotted flaps.
Pick it apart. I have broad shoulders.
