Hi all! So I've got the extra funds and the blessing of my significant other to start work on an ultralight.

I'd like to build an ultralight motorglider, think mini 1-seat DA20-isque thing.

Here are some thoughts:
-Plansbuilt
-don't care if its wood, fabric, composite, metal, etc.
-modify a motorglider w/ tricycle gear??
-Engine: Briggs and Stratton Vanguard V-Twin, 4 stroke of 23 HP-85 lbs.
-Useful load of 230 Lbs.(180 Lb. pilot-I'm only 150 though..., plus 30 Lb/5gal fuel and 20 lbs for an overnight bag, lunch, etc.)
-fixed wing(no para glider/flex-wing)
-3-axis (no rudder only steering!)
-foldable ore removable wings
-Empty weight...eh..."around" 254...

So thats what I'd LIKE, give or take. And the engine of course is just a preference size/HP wise.

Anyone know of any similar designs? I've been looking at the T-100D Mariah, but the only one flying is the prototype. Something like that, or this would be nice. Or MH-1 .
