I believe HP sells aircraft, but Torque drives them along,..........
I realise that max cruise and max take off pitch performance conflict.
Assuming one could obtain suitable redrive ratios (2 stroke) and prop, if the engine produces max torque at well under max HP rpm, which in turn is below max continuous engine rpm should one aim to run the engine at max Torque rpm, Max HP rpm, or simply max engine rpm (assuming the prop does not get close to mach 1 or lose efficiency etc)?
Would this be different if aiming for max cruise, or max takeoff performance?
