[Up late. Can't seem to get unwound tonight.]

I am still thinking about a wood landing gear covered with either graphite or glass cloth.

One question comes to mind. Should the holes for the axle mounting bolts be drilled after curing? Or 'built in' before cure by drilling the core and placing the fabric around the holes? Of course, some allowance should be made for having to clean the excess resin out of the holes.

And should bushings be used in the holes? My guess is yes.
