I know there's nothing new in the world, and this sort of wing-fold is established for uncrewed flying or gliding vehicles (usually munitions).

I just have never seen it on anything resembling a light aircraft, and it looks rather nifty... If it *had* been done, I'd love to know how they controlled their control surfaces!

Anyway, this is in "Hanger Talk" because it's just idle chatter; please don't take it too seriously, I don't think I'd ever be in a position to design one!
