For my first question as a "Beginner" here, I'd like some info anybody has about using a ducted fan-type setup in an LSA or even possibly managing one into an ultralight concept. I've been debating with myself and researching online and haven't found much, possibly due to the extra construction involved in, and added weight, of an intake and fan assembly. I still am curious though as to what is keeping an aircraft from having this type of propulsion system, if the weight and lift ratios are relatively good, center of gravity kept even as in almost all the radio controlled planes I own. Thanks.
