I've always been fascinated by the Demoiselle, and thought it'd be neat to build one from modern materials. Well, somebody beat me to it (these pictures are apparently from an Argentenian EAA convention, posted on the vintage ultralight group):

I wonder if it's available as a kit? It likes like a beautiful adaptation of a classic design to modern materials, and the closeups give me some ideas for construction of the aerobatic pusher biplane I've been thinking about.
One thing that intrigues me is the use of aluminum extrusions to secure cross bracing to the main fuselage longerons (seen best in pictue 3835). It looks like some kind of custom aluminum extrusion, sliced off in 1" sections. If just those parts were available somewhere it'd be great for a new design I'm toying with. Anybody seen anything about that?
I know Murphy Aircraft does something similar for their Renegade biplane, but I don't recall exactly what they looked like. Perhaps those ARE the Murphy extrusions. IIRC they were expensive parts to buy separately.

Always keep clothes and weapons where you can find them in the dark.
