This may seem an odd question, but...
I have to make some small fabric repairs on my plane. I have several pieces of leftover Ceconite in my shop, more than enough to do the repairs, but it's been sitting around for years and is dirty, dusty, covered with sawdust, etc. The cost isn't an issue for such a small quantity, of course, but rather than ordering waiting for new stuff to arrive, is there any reason why I can't clean (wash) the fabric? Run it through the washing machine, perhaps? Cold water of course, and air dry only.
