Ive been looking at alternatives to good old Blue Styrofoam core material, as the good old styro is less in abundance, or the spec has changed (density & psi). The alternative I was offered I was told had zero capilliarity.
Is this sales banter on behalf of our friend Bob the builder? Or is there then a reason to save on the slurry prior to lay-up. (Glass+ Epoxy)?
Or will something get lost in the way of shear strength achieved?
A bit like the chocolate not adhering to the cake :)
