When you going flying with all them toys? Hope to see you in the air soon.
July. We have a shot at making Oshkosh.
I hope so! I'll look for you with the T-51 crowd. I have a friend who dreams of owning a P-51, but I like the Titans (or at least my wallet and more realistic side does).
10% of the cost, 95% of the fun!
Next step, convincing a neighbor to build a scale Bf109 or FW190. LOL
Getting closer...plus we will have these leather "gear shift" boots.
You're going to put something on the edge of that glare shield, yes? Something to keep it from scalping you should Bad Things Happen?
Oh yes! The same folks who are making the boots are fabricating a leather wrapped pad to cover the entire glare shield. It will be functional, and it will look very nice. My avionics installer has already cut his forehead...more than once. Ouch!
Always wondered why people dont make at least the part that extends beyond the panel from molded rubber/vinyl/silicon.. ?
Dang, a Cord. Was the Graham supercharged?
Garmin, Mustang, P-51, GRT, Titan Aircraft,...
No no no, we are talking important stuff here.
No, not supercharged. A coupe version of the Cord with a lot less HP. Drove very good.
Lets take a vote...shall we make this an auto forum, or stay with homebuilt airplanes? I have a history with old / vinatge cars too. We can start right here...
What will it be?
The finishing touch was the leather glare shield pad & upholstery, plus boots for the joy sticks...
