So I decided to get in a little welding practice this morning before work, before the day's temperatures climb above "furnace" and stay there until after 9pm.

Today I learned two valuable things about my welding.

1) Even though my welds are still completely fugly, they do now survive an informal "bash it with a hammer" test. The original sheet bent and yielded, rather than the weld itself.

2) Don't set your jeans on fire.

It would seem I still have a lot to learn. :gig:
