So I've been working on a new plane design and I've got almost everything on paper now, except 2 or 3 issues that I'm still working out.
The plane will be too heavy for Part 103 but will still utilize ultralight construction techniques so that anyone that has a garage can build one with simple tools.
I'm still trying to determine if simple bolt together like a Quicksilver is best or if riveted tube and gusset like Aerodrome aircraft is better suited to the design.
I'm trying to find information on tubing sizes used on Quicksilvers,T-Birds,CGS Hawk.....any ultralights.
I would also like to find out the tubing sizes used on Aerodrome line of aircraft.
If this question has been asked before I apologize but I couldn't find threads mentioning the information that I need.....
