Not looking to get into commercial operations, so wondering what planes we typically have would be something we could jump out of. Most EXP’s tend to be two seaters, so we would be limited to just one jumping out. Among the 4 seat EXP, seems like the Zenith 801 would be a good choice. But I honestly don’t know what to look for, having never participated in skydiving before. And I think we can rule out the one seaters with them being the poorest choice. ;)

If I understand correctly it is legal to jump out of our experimentals planes, providing it is not for hire. Now I just need to know what planes would be more feasible than others. I suppose someone could even jump from a Quicksilver Sport as well, if they didn’t mind taking a while getting to altitude.

Also if you are a skydiver, I understand two chutes are worn. How many jumps have you had, and has there ever been a time when your first chute didn’t open?

And no, I’m definitely not considering this in my RV-6. :)
