Anybody an expert on pontoons?
I'd like to some day build a light seaplane with pontoons that can double as skis. Something similar in size to Cessna 162.
600ish kg max weight. 100-120hp Rotax or AM15. Tractor, high wing, side by side two seater made entirely of carbon fibre.
I live in Finland, the land of a thousand lakes (and a million feet if snow.)
I read up on deep V vs. shallow V pontoons but I found nothing on round and smooth or flat pontoons. Would they be down right dangerous?
