Hello,

I have been reading about regulations for experimental LSA aircraft and still have a question I just can seem to answer. Can one self design and construct an aircraft and get an airworthiness certification or does it have to be some kit or plane built from certified plans? It's not necessarily something I would do, but I am certainly interested in the prospect of self designed aircraft.

Thanks!
