Should a steering wheel be used on a roadable airplane? My opinion is no. Using a steering wheel for a roadable is a major stumbling block to making roadables work.

The law says you have to have a steering wheel if you want four wheels on the ground. This law needs to be changed. Rotary dial analog is not required on a cell phone, so why must we have a wheel for a 4 wheeled car? A trike does not need a steering wheel, nor does a motorcycle.

Nearly all roadable designs use a steering wheel. All have failed.
