Matt Long brought up a good question in another thread (Mikron alternatives) and I thought it best to separate it out.
Does anyone on this forum have first or second hand knowledge of the Raven Redrive products?

Hello. I contacted raven regarding their conversions and was told they have discontinued their Geo conversions to focus on Honda engines, including both 3 and 4 cylinder variations of Suzukis.

    Huh?

The Geo IS a Suzuki engine. There is no 3 or 4 cylinder Suzuki Honda engine as far as I know.

I think he is saying they are striking all Suzuki engines 3 and 4 cylinder to concentrate on Honda only.

Sorry I was obviously not as clear as I meant to be. TFF is right. They are not doing Suzuki/Geo conversions any longer.

    Guys

Just a quick update after announcing our shift to focus on our Honda® Fit conversions (we are developing 3 models) at our Seminars at AirVenture this past week. We did devote one of our Seminars to the practical consideration of whether there is enough interest to bring back a low cost more open source redrive kit for our proven 60HP Geo®/Suzuki® 3 cylinder engine. With Rotax out of the 503DC engine business, we think a lightweight 4 stroke equivalent that burns 1/2 the fuel might be of interest to many. We will be posting more info soon on some of the ideas fielded in that seminar entitled '60hp Suzuki® 993cc Again?'.

I think it would be a great option, personally.

Does anyone know if Jeron floated the Honda+redrive yet.
Jan at Viking is moving to 130HP fit engine with GDI (eliminating the header tank for fuel return and plumbing and added HP).

Not being an engine guy, I wish Jeron luck and hope to see his handy work.....

Jeron has been delayed for a couple of years taking care of important personal matters. He's still working on the project when he can, last time we talked about a month ago.
