Any thoughts on these guys? They offer a complete LS based 430HP package that includes the fuel pumps, wiring, 2 ECU's, engine monitor and ground adjustable prop for $24,500. $22,500 sans prop. They are currently going through the STC process to get a 180HP version into a 172.
Here is what you get:
GM Crate Engine w/ ignition, injection and most sensors, already checked on test stand.
2:1 helical gear box with fluid and Lycoming hub.
Soft rubber drive coupling and fasteners.
Flexplate starter ring.
Composite prop blades closest to your application.
Ground adjustable 2-blade propeller hub (3 and 4 blade are options).
Hi-torque GM starter.
2.5” exhaust swivels, flanges, and gaskets.
45 amp alternator, pulley, bracket, and belt. 75, 120, 140 and 160 amp alternators are also available along with a dual setup.
Air filter box, filter, and adapter to the throttle body.
MAF sensor and connector.
ALDL connectors (diagnostic).
Serpentine belt, tensioner, and idler.
Exhaust manifold oxygen sensors.
Electronic throttle lever (accelerator pedal) or vernier throttle w/ electronics.
Front engine stand-off mounts and isolated shock mounts (like lord) for the gear box and stand-offs.
2ea 75 psi continuous flow fuel pumps, regulators, regulator AN fittings, check valves, pressure gauge, and in-line filter (GM submersible pump, regulator, and fuel level sender can be substituted for one or both).
6.5” screen, 4 push button, LCD daylite monitor with basic engine parameter display and menu for operating options that will have backup manual throttle.
8.5” screen, other operating options, and a custom display or your options are available.
Complete auto electrical harness, needed connector pins, power and ground connectors, and the electrical circuitry/tables needed to rewire the engine.
2 computers (ECU’s).
CAD drawings of the LS3/7, gear box, prop and accesories. These are instep/ stp for your design application, and will be forwarded as an Alibre output to your email request.
And suggestions covering many aspects of the installation and its use.
