Hello, I'm trying to build an ultralight on a budget I can make the frame and wings myself but I'm having trouble finding an affordable 80 HP engine for it. Could someone please if an ultralight with one or two propeller blades could be powered with motors like the ones below? Would they be able to do the job as well as a typical 80 HP ultralight engine? Or at least able to be converted into something that could? If not what are the cheapest 80 Hp and 40 HP engines you would recommend?
Also would a 4 foot diameter three bladed propeller deliver as much thrust as a seven foot blade propeller? Or would a five foot blade prop deliver as much thrust as a 7 foot long prop?
