Toward the end of this old thread, Autoreply suggests using pultruded carbon to stiffen a tail boom and prevent flutter problems.
It is also suggested to put a single layer of glass cloth over your plywood skins, mainly for protection of the thin ply.
What I am wondering is if there would be any advantage to using carbon cloth instead. Would there be a 'useable' increase of the stiffness of the structure?
