I think many of us have played with JavaProp to get a grasp of the compromises involved in propeller design:

It is not a design tool, but the principles are there.
However I noted a strange (in my opinion) behaviour related to the number of blades.
Suppose you settled for a specific configuration for a two-bladed prop with a specific power delivered at the design point.
If you double the number of blades and also double the power (all other parameters unchanged), I would expect the single blades to keep working more or less with the same geometry / parameters.
Instead, even if the geometry actually remains unchanged, JavaProp predicts completely different parameters (i.e. efficiency).
I guess I'm just missing something...
