Ok I have been doing quite a bit of reading of old posting here and on other sites .
And at one point in there I needed to go up to the barn to get more firewood for the stove.
As I was walking buy a couple engines I have . One is a case diesel and the other a 4 cylinder Toyota diesel .
So I know they are both cast iron and heavy,
Then I got to thinking about a diesel in a Piet as it first used a model A engine.
Now I get to thinking what is the weight of a model A engine . Seems around 400+ pounds .
And I'am sure that some of these kubota diesels are much less than that .
As a matter of fact some use a alloy block and heads .
So why not use one . Maybe the VW tdi ?
Time to taste test the homemade grape wine again.
