Hi All,
apologies the n-th thread about this little wing, but: We just have been given a 95% completed Mtchell Wing B-10, built to current state in Melbourne, Australia, in 1983(!) from a kit. Plans / kit was sold in 1982, it's the wooden version with upside-down stick hanging from the wing, intended fro Zenoah 25 or similar.
The build quality is outstanding, so I am keen on trying to at least determine whether its worth completing the aircraft. We have a complete set of plans and a build log - but NO other data. I am trying to figure out all the details required for first flight preparation: projected MTOW, max load factor (definitely want to do a static load test), flying CG range, stabilator neutral position and deflections, relevant speeds for this version - all the stuff usually in a flight manual or datasheet. Any input / help / files would be much appreciated. Comments on flying characteristics (from experience, not hearsay ) too.
Cheers, Jo
