I'm familiar with the fire problems with lithium batts. I got a new EarthX sittin here on the desk. Supposedly, the BMS in the Earthx prevents fire and over/under charge. Whatever the fire threat may be I've accepted it. No worries. I got one in my 701 and it's been fine.
I need to install it in the cockpit for several reasons. And I don't want a battery box cause of weight. Does anybody know any history/info that would make it seriously a bad idea to do that, disregarding the fire history.
