I am trying to find a rotor craft design that is a cross between the X-2, K-MAX, and LSA requirements. This wouldn't be a true helicopter but more of a gyro that could have much closer vtol performance. Fixed pitch, powered, intermeshed rotors for lift. Standard prop and tail feathers for forward flight and controls.

Does the weight from multiple motors/engines make this unfeasible?

Sorry if this has a thread already, I didn't see it.
