Hi all,

I'm in the process of embarking on my dream of building a plane and learning how to fly, not necessarily in that order. This may not be the site for this question but I'm going to throw it out anyway because I've got a feeling that this site attracts some pretty helpful people.

Tell me how you folks learned how to fly. How do you find a flight instructor that really knows how to teach? How do you know when you've got the right one?

Any sport pilots out there? Any one take an accelerated training program to get their license?

As you can see, you're dealing with an almost novice that would appreciate the advice.

Thankyou
