Hi all
I'm new to this forum so I will first introduce myself. I am 18 year old and I study aerospace engineering at the university of Delft. I'm planning to build a plane based on the demoiselle of Santos Dumont. The engine is a 2CV visa engine.
Now I am drawing some plans for the horizontal stabilizer. See picture
I have a question about the ribs. I saw people who glued 0.8 plywood to foam to create the ribs. Is that a better solution than using solid (thicker) plywood.
And has anyone experience with glueing plywood to foam, which steps have to be taken, which adhesives are used etc. ?
Many thanks!
I hope that you can help me
