I want to convert my Dragonfly to a hoop gear version. I have considered the several options below. If you have thoughts on a particular one or a potential option I missed, your input is greatly appreciated!

1. Outsourced fiberglass gear - dead end, never made it to quoting.
2. DIY fiberglass gear, looked into materials and it appears to be around $1000 plus time
3. Grove Gear over $3000
4. Cessna 150 spring gear, heavy at 74 pounds
5. O'keefe Aero aluminum gear, their design for the Dragonfly is 38" wide at the top, 20" tall, and 68" between the wheels. I can't find dimensions in DFBN for a steel or aluminum gear.
6. Self engineered spring steel gear
