I am building my tanks integral in the wings, and am interested in folks experience with various sealants.

Lancair recommended PRC 1422a sealant and 420 primer, which meets the Mil Spec. The same Mil Spec is also met by what appears to be the same thing from Flamemaster CS3204 and Thiokol MC236. These are polysulfide based rubbers, and all appear to be the same thing chemically. Flamemaster and Thiokol products, I do not have primers for. Anybody used this stuff? Had good or bad results? Do we need the primer?

Then there is Flurosilicone rubber from Dow Corning. 94-003 and its 1200 Prime Coat. Anybody used this stuff? Good or bad results?

Thanks,

Billski
