Can someone please help me with a couple of questions...

My electric fuel pump started leaking from the drain tube and some rusty debris came out...so here comes the questions...

-Is this fuel pump rebuildable...meaning that the electric motor part is fine so is there a kit to rebuild the mechanical fuel pump?

-Is the rebuild process straight forward and simple so a reasonable mechanic can do it or are specialized tools required?

-The engine is a TIO-540 so I presume there are different output pumps so is the motor the same and the mechanical parts different?

-The fuel system is built so that the fuel enters the strainer first, then the electric pump and then the mechanical pump and then the Bendix...so I presume that I need to strain out the Bendix filter now?

I have not yet removed the pump so I am just trying to come up with some direction

Thanks for your help!!!
